Waverider

The Amulet series follows Emily Hayes, a young girl who discovers a mysterious amulet after moving into her great-grandfather’s house. When her mother is kidnapped by a monstrous creature, Emily and her younger brother, Navin, are pulled into the world of Alledia—a realm filled with talking animals, sentient robots, and dark forces ruled by the menacing Elf King. As Emily learns that she is a stonekeeper, chosen to wield great power, she must navigate The Struggle Between Darkness and Light. Throughout the series, she joins forces with new allies, including the resistance fighter Leon Redbeard, the rogue elf prince Trellis, and a diverse cast of warriors and inventors who hope to overthrow the Elf King and free Alledia from tyranny.

As the series progresses, Emily wrestles with the amulet’s growing influence over her, discovering that she is part of an ancient conflict involving the stonekeepers, the lost city of Cielis, and a mysterious entity known as IKOL. Meanwhile, Navin rises as a leader, guiding rebel forces against the Elf King’s army. Trellis seeks to reclaim his identity and destiny as Alledia’s rightful ruler while the heroes uncover the true origins of the stones: They are linked to another universe and are part of a cycle of destruction.
